what are you guys thinking of doing for a living after school? Or for those who work now, what do you do? Im not sure what im gonna do yet.

I want to follow my dreams and become a professional skateboarder.

And if that doesn't happend i plan on becoming a hunting guide.

those are the 2 things i've always wanted to do.

I never felt a connnection between teachers and me so i would leave teaching out of my range :D

well maybe teaching skateboarding, or something along those lines than maybe.

I work as a paid EMT and volley Firefighter. I also go to college for God knows what :D I would really like to teach EMS at the college level. If that doesn't work out I have many job offers.

i dont really have much choice, farming! we have had all of our land in our family since 1899 and none of my aunts or uncles took the family farm, nor did any of my cousins, and im the youngest cousin so the whole family pretty much told me they would disown me if i didnt take it! so thats what im in college for!

omg that is totally mean of them to disown u if u didnt take it i would love to have something like that to find all of the old thing that have been there sence 1899 and to see how much it would be worth

ya well let me refraise that, i wouldnt have the same respect i have if i didnt take it! but i dont really mind it! its great hunting land and i have 1800 acres of it!:D

Farming is great. I grew up on a dairy farm. Although we no longer have any cows, we do have horses, goats, a rabbit, dogs, cats, birds, lol all the critters. I'll always maintain a small farm just because its the way I was raised and its one of the only ways to put in an honest day's work now.

i dont mind the farming aspect of it, infact i love it! i have always been a hands on kinda guy and farming is definetly that!!!! im not sure that it would be my first choice of career, but would be second or third! helps that i have had my family in my ear about taking it over since i was 4 years old! we have 12 cows, 2 bulls, 4 horses, bunch of cats, (get hit by cars, coyotes eat them, run off) so no idea how many cats we have, 24 sheep, and 14 pigs. we are mostly a crop farming farm.

Planning to major in biological sciences and eventually go for a Ph. D. concentrating on embryology. There is a slight chance I might decide on med school and go into pediatrics.

thanks. I was kind of thinking about wildlife biology or maybe forestry, but I gotta start looking at other possible careers too. Im a junior this year, so it wont be long until I have to fill out college apps.

Farming would be cool. Lots of my relatives are farmers and i enjoy helping them out and being outside. something else to think about I guess!

Im actually currently a 2nd year apprentice Welder and once i get my journeymen ticket for that i might get my journeymen ticket for a carpenter, then after that im thinkin of becoming a Conservation Officer.

I want to be an animal biologist and travel the world studying animalsor a professional bass fisherman and go on the bass tour.

I work at a Grocery store right now but i'm joining the U.S. Navy probably for a 6-8 year tour and i want to be a Master at Arms (MP). After my tour i will either re-up and retire from the Navy or either become a State Trooper and join the Naval or Coast Guard Reserve or become a Border Patrol Agent. I want to work for the Government that has given me some many freedoms and opportunities.

I really don't know what I'm going to do when I get out of school. I'm going to do something that has to do with the outdoors though,like a warden. I don't want to be sitting behind a desk all day. I also have to be moving around a lot because I can't really sit for more than 30 minutes at a time. Gonna have to learn to do that for huntin season though.
