In your other post it says u went pheasant hunting, isnt that illegal without going through hunter safety first?

in texas, as long as you have a license, you can hunt as long as you have some one 21yoa or older, has a license, and has had the education course.also i think if you were bornbefore a certain date that you don't need the education course.

HoytUltratec I went pheasant hunting with my dad and uncle and they're both over 21, so it's ok.

In Alabama i got to take my Hunter Education in a class. It was required. Im not sure why but ohh well i didnt care. I hunt so it dosnt bother me. I knwo in Alabama and Pennsylvania as long as your with someone over 21 with a Valid Liscens and your under 16 you can hunt without a license.

i just took my hunter safety test.... i made a 98.... but we had to take the book home and read it ourselves and answer questions....

ive taken hunter safety twice and sat through it about 2 or 3 more times. i took it once, then i went to a hunting camp and had to take it there. then i went back as a counselor for the camp and had to sit in with the kids.....BORING!!

pheasant hunting is small game and you do not need a hunters education card to buy a small games tag. its like buying a fishing tag only someone 21 or over has to be with you.
