5.Well i never sat im a stalker but i wasnt allowed on my own untill i could name every hill we hunted and tell my dad where every path and trail lead to and that wasnt untill i was 17.

1. you got your first bb gun? -- Er, never had one.
2. started shooting firearms regularly? -- 11
3. first went small game hunting? -- 12
4. first went deer hunting? -- I started going out at 8 but I didn't actually shoot, I was just along to help. I started hunting deer at 14.
5. sat in a hunting blind by yourself? Never--don't use them.

I know each set of parents raises their kids differently, and different kids have different maturity levels at any given age. I'm just thinking about the decisions I'll have to make about my boys as they grow up (they're just 2 and 5 yrs right now.)

#1 i was like 8 when i got my firse pellet gun i shot a squeral the same day
#2 when i was my dad tool me .22 shooting it was what got me hooked.

#4 i think the first time i went deer hunting was when i was 7

dont get your kids a bb gun get em a pellet gun get a gamo deltra and put a 3-9x40 on it so they wont have to hen theyr 18 i got my first pellet gun at 8 and i still have it it is the coolest gun there is for an air rifle my best friend had like 5 pellet guns we allwase went squeral hunting together and he liked my gun so mutch he went and bought one. i like it because it is verry accureate and your kids need on as soon as you can get em one if they are interested take em shooting first to see if they like it
