Wal Mart sells the same guns that the other stores sell, nothing wrong with them.

Well if cost isnt that big of a problem, maybe look into the 270 WSM, i just recently upgraded from my old 270 win and i really like it, its hard to find a box of shells for under 20 bucks but i realy like it, maybe im over confident but i feel that i can make 400+ yard shots, have killed a nice antelope buck and 5x5 whitetail this year with it, i got a ruger m77, the scope and everything almost cost me a grand but i love it

ya if cost wasn't a big deal i would invest in anT/C Encore. then anytime you wanted you could get a different barrel for it and have a totally different gun. Just a thought.

I don't know why, but some people think the .300 Win Mag has too much recoil.
