Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness...anyone ever been up in that neck of the woods??

I've been up in that area before. We haven't got the chance to do the actual portaging or fishing yet because for most of our vacations we just go hang out at our lake cabin. Although, next summer me, 5 of my cousins and 2 friends of mine are planning on doing a weeklong fishing trip up there. Should be great fun.

Isn't that the American side of Quetico Provincial Park??

Well, I was only on the American side for about 15 minutes (detour) but I've spent a lot of time on the Canadian side. Actually, I just spent 12 days there in June. Not sure what you want to know, of if this helped at all, but letting you know.
