I have to agree with PA. I never thought i'd miss high school but i actually do. Well, more my friends and times were little bit easier in life at the time anyway. Okay who am i kidding, i miss getting in trouble :D

Yeah we have 6 more days left and it seems like an eternity. I quit doing homework the start of the 4th quarter and am just waiting for friday the 19th so i can start working and actually benefiting from wasting a whole day. I got in trouble yesterday for saying hte F word in morality class and had to writea 1 page paper on living a christian life and holding your tongue. then i turn around and say the N word today and get2 pages. 6 more days is all i keep tellin myself.

im a freshman. school ends june 8th. it sucks. antler addict07, funny stuff. i let the F bomb and the N along with a bunch of others more than once with the teacher hearing it. never got in trouble. my civics teacher swears at people in class so why should i get in trouble?

you are darnk lucky 24/7 hunter at the catholic school i go to everyone is all up tyte about that stuff... me and my buddy were walking down the hall doing the hitler walk and we were walking at our gym teacher who is jewish and that got us 2 days in ISS. people are too up tight anymore.

I'm A freshman, get out the 6th of june...some teahcers really getmad when they hear a swear, but most of them just say "I didn't hear that." They are pretty cool with things. Especially the day when Favre said he wasn't going to retire, and stick with the packers. Y'all can tell where I'm from!!

here i got a good ? for you. I have a friend that wore a shirt to school that said Manhattan High Life, he had to go home and switch shirts because it is too close to miller high life. How stupid is that

Your friend is lucky he didn't get jumped by someone. Usually when teachers or even priniciples do things like that, its so the student doesn't end up getting jumped or whatever. I'm sure there are other reasons but that is just best logical answer i could think of anyway. Although this isn't related to racism, its more an act of my stupidity in action. I liked Marylin Manson at that time and i was wearing a shirt that said 'beware of god: the lord is a sheperd". I didn't really think much of it at the time but i think i had more threats from alot of people that day and it was really making people mad at me, so naturally i wore it more (I think that is where the rumor of me being a satanist started too now that i think about it). After awhile, one student, whom he and I didn't likeeach other anyway, made a threat on my life (Ilaughed about it in his face) but ateacherwas within earshot.I don't remember what happened to him but i had to change my shirt.


Well as you know school boards won't let you wear any type of achololic and/or toboacco/drug related shirts, hats, etc., so its possible they mistaken the 'high life' for being use of weed.

a few of my friends and wear beer shirts sometimes.we know how to get away with it. we wear our flannels and button them when were by a teacher. works good;)

Tomorrow is the last day of my first year in college. Theres times when i wish i was back in high school. But not many.

just finished my first year of college......though a didnt like school and still dont its part of life...i kinda miss highschool but kinda dont....no work....easy tests......easy papers...rules sucked...i had a college professor tell us straight up that our school system in America is pretty bad....it basically teaches us to be little robots...they say stand up we stand up....they say sit down we sit down..they tell us to do stuff we do it(most of us.....) i always thought so myself...college is more easy going as in rules etc....he!! most classes they dont even care if you show up or not.....dont check daily homework etc....alot of them wont even know your name....but its your resposibility to do the work and goto class etc...if you dont youll pay for it later...its kinda hard at times to sit through class when you dont get "points" for attendance or in trouble if you dont go.....and hard to say i have to do homework when noone really cares if you do...but i guess its called resposibility and discipline.....i learned quick! lol....show up late...leave early....just be quiet when you do! lol....where shirts with big weed leaves on it.....bad words....beer etc.....noone cares....its diffrent...but still the same to a certain extent....time is flying though...3 more years and i should be done....cant believe a year is gone already...it takes some getting used to to do the college work too......before we could get out of tests for a few days by saying we all had bunches of others to do(highschool we all basically had the same classes to a certain extent.....) college they set the dates...you get the work done and be ready for the tests etc...but theres alotttt of downtime at college if you live there and not at home....the freedom is nice....

You'll miss it more than you think. There will never be a time in your life when you'llbe surrounded with the exact same people. You'll never be more free than you are right now. Everyone can't wait to get to college because of the freedoms of living on campus, skipping classes and nobody cares, ect. But the truth of the matter is that only freshman really enjoy college.

After that, the work gets harder, you have to dedicate most of your time to studying or working to pay the tuition, and if you're a party-person, you'll find your grades declining.

Its true that some of the professors will never learn your name, or that they don't care if you're not coming to class. They don't care because they still get paid. They still have your money. Other professors will be wonderful, and mentors. All of my professors know my name, even ones from semesters past. It really depends on the college that you attend.

Since I left for college, I've only seen maybe one or two people that I went to highschool with. We've all gone our separate ways even though most of us return to the same town on the weekends. So, hug your friends and say your goodbyes when the year is over.

As for the Hitler walk, I see that as downright disrespectful. Not only to the millions of Jewish people who died, but to your very own Grandfathers and their friends who were killed or injured trying to protect you from him. I can hear you saying "well its my right to free speech", well, its true, but there's free speech and then theres being respectful. You wouldn't go Hitler walking across Arlington now would you?

we have kids at our school that are Nazi's and I hate them. They're just worthless Nazi pieces of !@#$.
And I don't care if you think your school is to uptight about things. I think mine is too, butif I was your principal I think I might expel you for that.

Ok... to all you kids out there that hate school, and dont want to go to college, because school sucks, ect. go get a job at a co-op or in a factory and they will work your butt so hard that all of a sudden school is the best thing in the world!!!!!!! If you dont believe me just try it I dare you. It totally worked and now school is the greatest thing in the world.

Easy there big guy. Just because you don't like him, doesn't mean he's not still in charge. I bet you're gonna say "you don't know anything, you don't know him" blah blah blah; but we've all been there. We've all been through the angry teenager stage and all that, but getting yourself into a load of trouble just isn't worth your time or his. You'll be out of highschool soon enough, and then you'll realise that highschool, no matter how hard it seemed at the time, was actually much easier than real life.

The point is, with what's happened at VA Tech, and various other schools around the country, now would not be a good time to go shooting your mouth off. Actually, its never a good time. You may hate him, but he's an authority figure like it or not. Deal with it, and get on. You'll be much happier rather than griping about it all the time.

Now I didn't say this to bust on you or anything, just trying to knock a little sense and offer some kind words of advice. So don't go gettin' snippy;)

I am a freshman this year and I hate every minute of it. I am so exited though because we get out in like 24 days(counting weekends). Then me and my friends can shoot bluerock as much as we want.:D:D:DYES!!!!!
