I use a Ruger M77 .30-06 for deer and elk, Ruger M77 Mark II .243 for misc. like predators, Mossberg 835 12 Ga. for turkey and grouse.

hey how do you like that mark II?? we got one in .270 and we shot it for the first time a few weeks ago. that thing is a tack driver!!! we won it in a raffle!! it was well worth the6 dollars for the ticket!!

I like the Mark II just fine. I like the short barrel it offers. It is a really short gun overall so it worked great for me while I was growing up. I don't shoot it very often now though.
