our deer sure the beat the TINY little things in Texas that only weigh 120lbs

we could have a deer the same age weighin 200 lbs and carrying a massive rack 300 lbs carrying a trophy rack

Big bucks grow everwhere. There may be higher concentrations of big deer in some areas due to good genetics, good nutrition, little hunting pressure, low harvest, and Bill Jordan Food Plots Get out, scout your area if you can. Learn as much as you can about the bucks you're hunting and set up to get one! Old fashioned hard work. You get out what you put in.

If u r looking for a big body u should go to where it is cold and they have to build up the winter bulk. In the south the deer have little bodies big racks in the North dakota the deer have big bodies little racks and in canada the deer have big bodies and big racks.

If you want big body size Minnesota is THE place to hunt, the two biggest deer I have ever heard of came from here, they were tied at 421 lbs dressed, DNR estimates 511 lbs live weight. One was shot in the late 80s, and the other was shot in the early 20s. And if you want big rack size it's a good place to be as well, the record books show that Minnesota has the highest number of record book entries in the past. But for the past 10 years or so we haven’t seen anywhere near as many monsters coming out of the state as before, there are still big bucks here though. And I think things will once again, get better in the future. You may have to wait a few years to see them, but manage your property right, and they will show up.
