Jamen vad trevligt! Välkommen! I dont get the stinky part but what the heck, thats what scent blocking suits are for.

And no, we dont allow bowhunting in any form.
There is no tradition for it and there are only few enthusiasts that go abroad to hunt. It is, as zorox said, considered unethicaldue to a tobig a risk at wounding deer and not enough marigins of error. To hunt roe deer you would have to use a class 2 rifle (basically a .222 rem or bigger) or a shotgun. Moose, wild boar, fallow and red deer wouldrequire aclass 1 rifle ( 6,5x55 or bigger). Slugs or shots bigger than US No1 are not allowed. There are exeptions but since they dont apply to my hunting, I never learned the details.

What kind of hunting do you do 3Ddepression?

I also do still hunt or stalking for roe buck early in the season.I try to participate in a week of moose hunting as well, but that can be a bit to overorganized for my taste. It takes so much area, that it will mostly involve a dozen people or more.
One form of huntingI like, is using ferrets to chase out rabbits from their holes. That is actionladen! I also like to hunt ducks, dove and crows, but time is not as plentyfull anymore so I dont get to go out as much.
If I had a good boar baiting spot and some goose and pheasant hunting I would have covered most of southern Swedish hunting. I still consider myself really, really lucky.
I see that you are from Michigan, and all knowledge I have of that stems from "Deer hunter 2005"
,so Id appreciate if you filled me in abit more yourself. ed:
OK! soI reread the thread a bit more careful, and it suddenly appears a lot more clear what a rich and varied hunting you have. Luck alone can not make for your fine results
I reallylike the turkey pic.I would surely like to trythat sometime.

Thanks 3D, I am very fortunate to have the hunting I have. In Michigan, all the hunting is very organized. For big game (turkey's and deer) people still hunt or stalk. For bear, people either bait themor run them withdogs. Small game (pheasants, rabbits, grouse, squirells, etc.) can be hunted multiple ways. Some people use dogs, or just jump/flush the animals themselves. Hunting is varied alot here. One day you could be way up hunting a dry hill, and the next day you will be in the middle of a swamp all wet and muddy. You just have to use your konwledge of the animals to be succesful here!
