...i know this has been talked about but...

RE: ...i know this has been talked about but...
no tats for hunting. i wouldnt get one unless it has a ton of meaning. i have one.it ofsweet as*star on my arm with the date my mother passed away in the middle that i got this summer..i will get a pick of it and put it on herenext timeim on.i know alot of people that got a tat just because it was kool at the time with no meaning and now regret it. haha one of my friends got one of his wedding date and now they are divorced .so what i am saying is just pick wisely. but i think a deer skull with a nice rack would be tight though.

give yourself a TON of time to think about it. don't just think about how much you'll like it now, think about how you might feel about it when you're older. what about future employment? some places won't accept people with visable tattoos. when you think you've thought about it enough, put it off a little longer. then if you think you absolutely can't live without it, go and get it. my choice, smaller is always better. easier to hide and it will look better as your skin ages than something huge. tattoos are forever.

Unoffical chat room now?? lol
Anyway, I think if you want to get a tattoo then go for it. Think about what you want and where. I have one on in between my shoulder blades and it was cool back at the time i gotten it but its not me anymore. Later on i will have it removed or just covered by something else. Point in case, just think long and hard about what you want |
RE: ...i know this has been talked about but...
thank you to everyone for thier input. yeah im definently going to take my time to find the right one and where and maybe someday i will get one. thanks.

RE: ...i know this has been talked about but...
I have a small one on my left upper arm , it isn't hunting related but just reminds me of a special time in my life . It looks nearly as good as the day I got it , HG89 was right about small ones . I got it 25 years ago , and I've given thought to getting another one ever since but never did .
Think long and hard about what you want and visit as many tatoo shops as you can to see what kind of work they do . A bad tat will haunt you for a long time , and nothing will completely erase it except another tat . You'll have to live with the result for a very long time . If you decide to get one don't show up at theshop liquored up thinking that it will dull the pain , it won't , and a reputable artist will not tatoo someone who's high on anything . Once the tat has been applied follow the care instructions to the letter . Expect scabbing , and keep it clean and covered until it fully heals(about two weeks) . Don't scratch it , even if it itches , that can make the ink spread . If an infection develops get it taken care of immediately . |

if you do get one listen to what kevin1 said and follow the treatment proceedure that the tatto artist tells you to a T!! if not it wolnt look as good. i know..a friendof mine got one and hejust let it goand it lookslike **** now. use coco butter or hd ointment and never let it dry out for the first month or so and also dont let sun hit it fora month because it like a baby's skin right after you get it, and it will burn extremly easily. mine did a little and i only had sun hit if for 20 minutes.
