what gun should i use

i have a 30-30 but i dont know if at is the best choice

I'm assuming you are talking about hunting deer? If so, a 30-30 would be fine. It wouldn't be my first choice but if you own one, use it. It will work fine. Know your limitations though when it comes to accuracy and so on.

but it depends on what ur range and what kind of terain

30-30 is a gread brush gun for short distance but not all that great for longer shots

get a diffrent gun

It all depends what state and terrain and other things that you are shooting through

a 30-30 is fine for deer espesially here in fla cuz the shots arnt too long and some places are semi woody

well when i first started hunting i used (and loved) my 30 - 30.. it was a sweet heart of a rifle.. never failed me.. but then my parents bought me a .270 and it is a sweet heart too, but can go ALOT farther than a 30 - 30 would ever imagine

I' d say .270. I used an .300 first time out. Went pig hunting last year with an .300 Savage Mag. all i can say after i shot it was ' ouch' got a nice sow though [8D]
