So on saturday night, I got this buck, hes a nice sized nine point. We were sitting in the blind, watching the trail where we had been seeing alot of activity, and around 5: 30 this guy steps out. I watched him for a couple of minutes, and made sure he was at least eight points, thats the minimum on our lease. Then, Ifired one shot and he ran off. After 30 minutes, we got down and walked to where he was standing, and just 10 yards away and over the fence there he was. I shot him quatering away, and the bullet entered in the back of his right lung, punctured his heart, and lodged in a rib on the other side. I know the pictures are all bloody, but we had to take them quick so we could gut him before dark. This is my first real buck, cause last year all I got was a little cull cpike; so Im having him mounted, only six more weeks till I get him back! Hope everyone else had as much luck as I did.
