My first kill was actually a grey squrriel that I shot with my little youth model 20 gauge. I was so proud of that little animal.

my first kill was a pigeon at 33 yards(yes i counted)off the back porch with my grandpa's full sized 12 gauge shotgun. dang that thing was heavy, even for him. i was 12 years old, and i'll never forget.

Okay, my mind isn't working too well at moment (ok, maybe a life time ) but i recall it being a ground squrriel
