RE: High School Sports

So what you are saying is that because of a site, that simply says
"If that doesn't convince you, how about the low score for athleticism, conditioning, physical contact, and offense/defense factors. Archery received an abysmal zero for the entire competition classification. The reason for this low score is that the competition is based on standing motionless, while everyone around remains quiet and none of the other participants have any influence over the other participants' performance. That flies in the face of athleticism and competition."
and also that a movie star almost went pro because she has talent? That is like saying golf isnt a sport, and look how many people play golf as a SPORT. That site also has no logic, because it has no running or contact, it is automatically not a sport, what a joke. it takes skill, simple as that. I lose my temper and make no sense? i lose my temper because of people like you. and I make more sense and have more logic than any of your BS stories. Take your crap somwhere else and talk to someone who is as ignorant as yourself.
Take into consideration that PSE is the one who also garenteed me that the Grigsby in central IL is fenced, and I have personally been there and shot and been around. L O G I C. use it.

Seriously, like oh my God, it's called a debate. (Yeah, that's sarcasm and I was making fun of you.)

You'll notice a lot of it happening here in Young Hunters, debating that is. A lot. We tend to hold strong opinions about things and we tend to debate about them a lot.

Can't handle it? Leave. Think we're being immature by discussing issues which affect us? Leave.

They hardly ever get out of hand, and when they do we have moderators who take care of it.

if u havemt noticed ur the only one not dropping the subject. as u call everyone else immature, u act immature urself. u are right we are opinionated, and u cant seem to acceptanyones opinion (or at least let them have their own opinion) but your own.

really u dont (in my mind) even belong in here seeing as u are of college age. last time i checked, this part of the forum was for YOUNG hunters. being of college age doesnt exactly qualify u as a young hunter.

i think as most everyone has said we just need to drop the whole achery topic, and get back to the original post.

While it is sort of flattering to know that I must present myself in a way for you to think I'm of college age, I'm still only 17. The last time I checked that would make me a senior in high school. Get your facts straight before you attempt to insult me next time.

Also, notice that my last post on the actual subject was not the last post out of everyone on the subject, therefor I am not the only on not dropping it.

How exactly is it that I can't accept anyone's opinion while you can? I don't see you making a post saying "You know what, maybe you folks are right. Maybe some people consider archery to be a sport; however, I still don't." Until you make a post like that you're just as opinionated and close minded as I am on the subject.

As for my being immature, whatever. Go back, read my posts, go back read your posts. You tell me which one looks to be written by the more mature person. I am of college age, aren't I?

And as for the whole being too old theory, you're going to have to take that issue up with quite a few members frequenting this portion of HuntingNet. There are quite a few members who frequent Young Hunters who are actually older than I am.

Again, get your facts straight before you attempt to insult me, my maturity, my intelligence, or my opinions.

well for starters some of u may think that archery is a sport. im fine with that. i personally dont think it is. u all are entilted to ur own opinions.

u and ur accomplice in this argument were the last ones to post about it.

ur maturity? where is it? i think u should get some of the air out of ur over-inflated ego. that goes for all ur other points.

Archery is a national sport, i dont care what you think, its a fact. www.nasparchery.com that is the official website for the archery program that the schools do. How can you even think that it isnt a sport. there absolutely no reasoning. Accept your mistake.
