Just wonderin about some other peoples first years or even first weeks of college life, how if u felt all culture shocked and everything and if it got better or worse for you.

I got my first taste of college this summer, I was there for 6 weeks and had a few courses. I think college life is fun, but it definitely is a culture shock. You have a lot more responsibilities, and that can be overwhelming. As long as you make friends though, college is awesome!

Well first off, congrats for making it this far. Your first few weeks of college can be really difficult. Sometimes you're in an environment that you aren't used to, you're with people you don't know all the time, living in old dorms. Despite all of that, tough it out and realize that in a very short time things will change, and all of those things that felt different or uncomfortable will become second nature to you. By second semester of my freshman year, it felt like I had two homes.
College is such a great time. I can easily say it was the best four years of my life thus far. You learn a lot in college, but the most important stuff you learn is about yourself. You figure out who you are and what you want to become, not only career wise, but as a person. Alright, I'm done being corny, but seriously, it'll feel a lot more comfortable very soon. Hope this helps.
And one other thing, don't be shy. Most of the kids there feel the same way in some sort, so just get some people together and find something to do on campus or off, party, whatever.

Yeah, I just moved in a week ago. I adapted pretty quick, but I can't wait to meet some new ppl. Lately all i've been doing is hanging out with a couple ppl that came here from my highschool.
