just woundering how many people have tried it and if there are any that are really into it. i have always wanted to climb but back in pa that wasnt an option, but out in the great state of utah its climbing heaven. the only problem is that im dumping a lot of money into it and not studing and getting BAD grades. some thing deffintly has to change.
this area is also considered swiss cheese with all the caves. were looking for a cave that is 425 feet deep!!! a lot of rope work to get into and out of. this sat were hitting a cave that has a 150 ft rappel into. last weekend we went into a cave in a crack between two rocks that was over 100 ft and very tight.

I haven't done it yet but it is on my to-do list (which is includes scuba diving, skydiving, and bungee jumping) <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

I love climb and Rappel, I have taken several class for the Fire Dept. For Rescue. What's the highest rappel you have done? I did a 600ft once it was cool, half way down you had to switch ropes, cuz they were tied together. I climb some but not a whole lot of places around here to do it.

i've climbed in gyms, ropes courses, and 400ft. cliff faces... next to firefighting and hunting its the time of my life... also caving... i've been a mile into caves with no more room than just to squeeze myself on my belly around the rock walls... not knowing if you are going to make it out or not or be able to turn around and get back out is scary as hell but in the long end its worth it
