Default i pod

this really blows, i just bought an i pod friday night for 299,
i check the apple site today and it says a new color ipod with longer battery life is now 299. what that... that wasn't listed anywhere, and now i'm stuck with an i pod that just went down in value a ton in 3 days..and if i would have waited 3 more days, i would have had one in color. i doubt i can trade it in, but im going to try. apple should announce these things so people know ahead of time. but supposedly thats what they do so they can sell the older product for full price right to the last minute instead of having it drop off once a new product is announced.

call me old fashioned, but i'll stick with my cd player thanks. overpriced little pieces of garbage that i would lose in about two seconds.

walking around with little white things sticking out of my ears isn't my idea of a good time lol

I prefer my iPod over a CD player anyday. I can carry over 1000 songs in my jeans pocket, lets see you do that with your CD player. [8D]

I like my Ipod for music - the color one is nice because of the display, but I doubt I'd put pictures on it.

i don't need 1000 songs... thats the thing of it. you can't listen to them all at a time anyway, so its just as easy to switch CDs.

i pods are nice, you can hold 400 cd's on something half the size of a cd. its just convenience. no scratching of cd's, and not having to jumble them around and have to carry a large case of cd;s around with you.
its convenience at its finest.
