Whatever I get to first and where they are. I've got weapons and tools that can be used as a weapon (axes, hammers, crowbars) scattered throughout the house, I'm not too worried about it.

I don't worry too much about someone breaking into my house. But if it does occur, I have my pistol (Colt 1991 45 ACP) laying next to the bed. I once had my shotgun behind the door in my bedroom, but that started to get in the way, so I put it away with the rest of my guns.

i dont really think any one is goin to bebreakin into my house, but who knows. Ide just use the buck knife next to my bed or if he was unarmed and small ide just use my fists. I wouldnt use a gun inless there was more then one and/or they/him was armed. I wouldnt want to put a hole in the wall. O and ide use the .357 magnum or the 20 gauge.

well, a shotgun with some decently sized shot wo uld be ideal, but it'd be alot easier to secure a handgun around your bed (where you'd most likely be at the time of a robery). also, if married, it would have to be something my wife could use efficiently. I'd lean towards a 9mm with a lazer site. Of course before taking actions into my own hands i would call the police, and only engage with the rober if necessary. If he came in and took things without putting me in danger, i'd let him go and hope the cops could catch him. I'd try to get the lisence plate number and type of vehicleas he drove away, and let the police no that and in which direction he was going. Don't try to be a hero, you may end up being the one at the wrong end of a shotgun barrel.

well my first choice would be my 12 gauge shotgun with buckshot. if that failed, i have a vast assortment of knives, 2 swords, and an axe. if the robber can get past all that, and both of us are still alive, i'll help him load stuff.

Man, I wish I could live in a neighborhood where no one ever gets robbed. My part of Chicago is tough. I can only arm myself with my Easton baseball bat and my fists....which are plenty enough.

In all honesty, the only gun I own for that job is the 1911 second from the right, all the other are just toys/tools. The 1911 is the only one Ive paid money to get professional training with specifically for personal and home defense. When I lived in Texas it was my all season CCW gun.

the only thing i can get too without going down stairs first would be my huntin knife and bow,, would like to get a pistol but it would probally sit down stairs,,hopeflly will never need to use any of them

i think i would choose my remington 870 mag loaded with 3 inch double aught buckshot for the sheer nockdown power of the round although i hope i would never have to use this on anyone but if they break into my house it is their own fault and they will suffer the consecuenses to the extreme

i have a knife in my knight stand right by my bed and a 45colt in dresser drawer and a sawed off 12 gauge

i feel safe enough to were i have never even thought about it, and i dont think we have locked our doors once, ussually we just have the screen door closed and the normal door open, im glad i dontlive in a neighbor hood were i have to worry about that, but yea if any thing did happen i woud prolly grab whatever gun that i have shells for ussually i dont have any but during the seosons i ussually have a box or two around

The way that my house is set up, if a burglar wants to steal anything he will have to come up stairs, and to come up stairs he will have to break in the door at the top of my steps, which is right below my bedroom. If he does this, I will hear him before he can break the door, and I look at my surveilance cam. If it is a burglar, then I have measured the exact spot to shoot through the floor to hit him where he stands. This is what i would do! LOL.

u must live in a dangerous area to have calculated the exact spot to shot through your floor to kill someone that is breaking in, if anything like that did happen i would probably be sol because i dont have anythign ready for it but im still not worried

If someone was in my house and i needed self defense id pry give them some bird shot to the shins or turkey load... Then the cops wouldnt have a hard time chasing them
