Doug; the bottom of the attached link gives a good indication of which crops you can use to build your soil organic matter. Russ is right that building your humus should be one of your main goals.

Thanks for that information! Will those plants actually build the soil, or keep it from being depleted as rapidly? I like the chart that shows the PH and soil drainage tolerance.
