What I don't understand about fertilization is.....Do I have to do the same routine every year when it comes to fertilization?
This year I had to add 900 #'s of 0-46-0
and 300 #'s of 0-0-62 per plot
This is getting expensive......If I don't have to do this every year.....no big deal but if it has to be done every year.....I don't think it is economical.....

and
Fertilizing Alfalfa, Sweet Clover, Alsike Clover, Birdsfoot Trefoil, Red Clover and Grass-Legume

Stone...dont make it more complex than need be.....once your P and K test ok...med to high...and your pH is in range, you dont have to spend a fortune...remember, you are growing a food plot...not feeding the starving millions in sub saharan Africa...just let the plot tell you if it needs something and every year or two, add a balanced small amount of fertility....

Wooddust,
My K showed medium but I am adding because I was told that clover is high potassium users and If I don't bring it up that I would have to add more next year.
My P didn't even show up so I know I have to add a bunch. I am adding what some guys recommended the total should be.
Should I do it different or should I go with the rec.
