Check your local papers for a local fruit growers nursery. They should be reasonable if you buy 1-2 yr old grafted whips.

Jeff, what county are you in? The Michigan Soil Conservation unite sell trees and now is the time to put your order in. They are seedlings and are quie reasonable. The main number is 1-231 839-6161...

Jeff; if there are any commercial fruit farms in your area, you could ask the farmers where they buy their stock.

hey jeff the co districts only sell apple trees in the spring. i just got my catalog today and the trees come in bundles of five for 50 bucks.
