that's a ton of water, I seen where some place up north got 11 inches in like 45 minutes,
that's just NUTS to me

but been raining almost every day here for a week or more now, just fast down pours and away it goes and the heat comes out

I hope the flooding down your way misses you

I made out fine. My sister's house is on three-foot piers and she had water lapping and inch below her door sill. Fortunately it stopped rising and did not get in the house. Have several friends with water in the house, one about four feet deep. Horrible mess.

Lots of road closures so I haven't been able to get to the hunting lease yet to check out damage there. The rain total in that area was 17". Our camp area is on high ground a half mile from the Tickfaw River and 500 yards from the nearest creek. Hopefully it did not flood.

I wish you luck in having no damage. Lot of people hurting right now in LA.

If you feel like sharing the wealth, send a couple inches this way.

Battled wildfires all day this past Monday that were lightning starts. Got just enough rain to douse them early the next morning. Had a fire again yesterday, so the relief didn't last long.

Be careful what you wish for. I just received this on my phone from one of our hunting club members. It's the highway leading to our lease.

Around here today, some spots have received over 7" of rain. Still raining, but slowing down some.
