i think this is the right spelling. has anyone used it? i have been told by a local biologist that it is a great attractant. let me know your experience and when to plant/planting proceedure.

Farmers here grow canola but i never saw the deer eating the stuff.

I've heard farmers here in central NC talk about how much they love canola because deer do not touch it. I have seen turkeys in it but the years we have canola on our leases it makes for tough hunting. I would b scared to plant to attract deer. At least in the eastern us.

plant sunflowers instead and a lot of them, at least 75lbs per acre and 450 lbs of fertilizer per acre, black oil seeds seem to do the best job, toss in 1lb of turnip seeds and 25 lbs of forage oats with the sunflower seeds, top dress with another pound of turnip seeds just laying on top of the ground do not cover these up
