Default Deer minerals. The real deal

Over the past few years there has been debate wheather minerals worked for deer or not. In honesty, Yes they do. But they must be in high enough and balanced enough complete ratios to make a difference. If you go by the QDM crowd quoting from old test done years ago ,those test were done with poor quality and incomplete products in the study. As a professional wildlife consultant and cervid nutritionist and have been rasing deer for nutritional research for 17 years now I can tell you the right product makes a difference. Now heres the story,Most of what is out there over the counter, in box stores and mom and pop feed stores are nothing more than attractant based products. We have seen over the past 6 years alot of individules and companies jump on the bandwagon for selling a product labled deer minerals.I would be comfortable saying that over 98% of these people never put their hands on a deer or have any type of cervid(deer) nutritional background. Most are just copied from others over the years or a basic cattle mix with flavoring. In truth if the elements are from the earth and what ever animal consumes it you can call what ever you want,Elephant mineral, buffalo mineral etc... Most of those products are made as a for profit basis first and health second. Alot of the companies make as much as 350% profit margins with their attractan based products. We see products with 65% salt 13% cal carbonate and no phosphorus, sodium, magnesium, potassium, sulfer, and a scant mix of trace elements and no vitamins and claim they grow monster bucks. Im sorry It dont happen that way.Especially in freerange deer. Some of these guys will go to deer farms or preserves that have had their own genetic stacking program for a long time and they will offer them free product in return for pics or promotional consideration. The checkerboard companies are notorious for it as with some of the backyard mix guys. I believe in someone making a living selling a product and doing well for themselves but the product should be of quality and deliver as advertised. So yes minerals do work for deer and elk but the need to be in a high enough balanced ratio with chelated( organic vitamins and probiotics pack. Companies or mom and pop guys will not put this type of quality in the product as it takes away from the bottom line profit margins. Most only put in a low form of calcium, (carbonate or citrate) with only about 18% absorbtion rate and then follow up with out of balance or incomplete ratios. If they get feed back from pics of deer digging a hole where the attractant was placed its automatically thought of as the best product on the market. Attractants are good for census studies and trail cam pics but thats about it.The home made mixes you see floating around are not gonna yeild you any monster results, Stay away from the home brew guys. Whats good for deer? A complete and total product. Bottom line. Ask the guy you bought the products from where they got their deer digestive physiology info from to determine what whitetails need. How many have pulled blood samples from deer at several times of the year for analysis, Or fat tissue samples. I would say maybe less than 1% have ever done this to study what a deers nutritional requirements are or how they are being delivered and absorbed into their system. How many will say they have done bone densitity studies or have had xrays of ribcages, shoulders or neck vertibra probably less than 1% and some said many will not post whats in their products, Or post an analysis on line. Some products if they are species specific and designed for that particular animal by a qualified nutritionist some info may propritary or private and trade marked but most are not. So some levels of product privacy can be understood. Now Enter Mass Nutrition products. Yes they are species specific and designed for a deers digestive physiology. We use 3 form of calcium including calcium orotate which offer up to 85% absorbtion rate in deer and will penetrate the cell membrains to offer true calcium replenishment and buildup. You have to look at your does nutritional needs before your bucks. 60% of your bucks DNA comes from the doe. So we concentrate on does first as well as the whole herd. You will get higher milk milk production, higher milk fats and help build up antibodies and your fawns imune system quicker with Mass Nutrition line of products. The probiotics are designed to also work to aid in digestion of native forage and crops turning them into useable energy and to help break down proteins into peptide levels. The biggest thing that also seperates us as a deer health product is our Alpha amino acids in our probiotics pack as these are use to incerase blood flow thus allowing faster uptake of elements to produce larger antlers, build stronger skeletal system, healthy digestive system, and increased body mass. So I hope this info has been helpfull and if you have any deer health or nutrition questions let us know and we will be happy to help. One last item. Lab test. I dont know of anyone currently having done lab test on their products but our product line has proved superior to all others so far and will be happy to provide a list. Thanks again and have a great evening and hope this has answered alot of your questions.
