Brush hoging a clearing
I just presently bought 4 acres in side a state forest that I hunt... Anyhow about 3/4 of acre was logged out about 5 years ago and has small sapling trees... I want to brush hog it and plant some persimmon and crab apple... Any pointers I should knows

Not sure if your bashing me... I'll take it as yes...
The 4 acres i bought are inside a 40,000 acre state forest... So to me 4 acre is like owning 40,000... So i think it is worth wild to enhance part of this property for whitetail deer DFAH...

In my opinion, it's worth doing, but not with a brush hog. Hire somebody with a bulldozer for a couple hours, it will save you a lot of headache and make your life much easier.

Maybe I should of been more clear on what I was talking about... 3/4 of a acre has saplings... The 3/4 of a acre is what I want to clear... Not the entire 4 acres... But anyhow I've figured out what I was going to do to remove saplings...
