Do I get the soil test before or after burning?

Default Do I get the soil test before or after burning?

I thought maybe the ash and nutrients might make a physiological difference to the soil in one direction or the other but need confirmation. Thanks in advance.

Unless you have a forest fire the difference should be minor. However, we always suggest that you lime to the next highest point but less than 8.0.
