I was in an Orshliens store this week buying some nuts and bolts and saw the deer plot seed and mineral display. I figuered Id see what they had and what was in it...and see what the price was.

They had this mineral mix with these directions of digging a hole etc, mix with water...blah blah...then I see it sys they have a " Slow Release block" ...and on the display, there it was...So, being a bit inquisitive..I looked to see what it was, read directions, and turned it over...there was a label with what the ingredients were.

NaCl.......Salt. Not salt with minerals, not minerals with some salt. Salt.

Beware of stuff in really flashy packaging with a big buck on it...its all seed just like any other seed usually, minerals just like we give cattle will perform the same.

Our exact sentiment... There is a difference. What works for one person may not work for their neighbor.
