Post Realtree nursery trees available at walmart!

Realtree Nursery’s Food Plot Trees including the Dunstan Chestnut ™ will be available at select Walmart stores across the nation this coming spring.

Trees will be available in late March and early April in stores in GA, AL, TN, and KY, and in April in NY, PA, OH, MI and IL. Ask at your local Walmart garden center and hunting department to see if they will have the trees. Not all the stores will carry the trees.

Dunstan Chestnuts ™, Sawtooth Oaks, American Persimmons and Native Crabapples will be available in 3 gallon (2 year old) pots, with a retail price of $20.00 each.

The stores that will receive trees will be listed on our website home page:

If your local Walmart store does not have them this year, you can still order all of our trees directly from the website or by calling toll-free 1-855-386-7826. Trees can be shipped via UPS up until mid-April, or picked up at the farm year-round.

Dunstan Chestnuts ™ are the best tree for attracting deer and game. They begin to bear in only 2-4 years, and can produce 10-20 lbs of nuts/year by 10 years. They bear every year and do not skip crops like oak trees. They are proven resistant to the chestnut blight, and have been grown all over the eastern U.S. from Maine and Michigan to north Florida and Texas for 30 years with no tree ever dying from the blight. Dunstan Chestnuts ™ are preferred by deer because the nuts are high in carbohydrates, sweet tasting and have no bitter tasting tannin like acorns.

Don’t plant a food plot, plant a feed lot with Dunstan Chestnuts ™!

I found out the Chestnut Tree Drawing has been extended to the end of the month of April. So there's still time to enter.
