Default question about a Plotmaster

I'm new to food plots. I'm getting setup to build a couple of food plots next year (clover). I bought a used 2000-2003 (Unsure of year) Plotmaster very cheap that was used very little, but they lost the controls for the for the electic lift system. Can anyone tell me what the four wires do? (up, down, power, and neg). I don't want to buy a new controls. I plan on putting the food plots on soft old road beds.

Thanks
Jeff

The 4 wires (2) gives you up and down for the depth on the plotmaster and the other (2) puts the feeder on and off.

Thank you. I hooked up the electric motor to an extra Lenco Trim tabs switch (for my boat) and it worked great. I was able to raise and lower the Plotmaster with the switch. Looks like I'm headed in the right direction. No one in the club has tried a food plot. I'm going to give it a shot next year. What maintenance needs to be done to the Plotmaster every year. I'm going to repack the hubs. Anything else?

Just keep everything greased up every 8 hrs and you are good to go.

I have had mine since 02 and use it every year. Once you have the plots established the following year they go much easier.

Don't expect to do raw land as an all in one run. This won't happen.

Here is their link: http://www.plotmasters.com/ They may still carry the cable box and battery hookup wires.

Good luck and Happy New Year!
