Default Help with foodplot

I have bought some chicory and clover mix and I plan on planting that, what I'm wondering is can I mix wheat seed in with it and it be good? I guess my question is I'm not gonna hurt the chicory clover mix by adding wheat am I??

Clover does not do well in this part of OK. It would be better to plant oats: Deer prefer oats to wheat. Do not buy the expensive buck forage oats, plant plain old horse feed oats from the Co-Op.

Bought some oats last week. They were about $12.50 for a 50 pound bag at the Co-Op. Am waiting on the rain before i plant them.
