swamp question
I have about a 40 acre swamp that is open about 35 acres of it. There is very little standing water in it but you get you feet wet when you go in. What can i put in there that will grow? I was wondering if soybeans or something like that would work i know it wouldn't be a field out there but anything to bring them there would be great.
I cant put a feeder out thats electric its against the law here and can only use a gallon per 40 acres of bait. I have mineral blocks out it a couple of spots and they get hit hard but all at night. they are just passing through to the corn field.
I would like them to come out to the swamp for a quick snack before going there.
Any help would be great and thanks in advance.

I leased a river swamp tract several years ago and tried clover, oats and rye and nothing grew well. Really a waste of time and money for us. I don't have any suggestions other than a timed feeder that maybe is rigged to a wind up type clock, not a battery........
