Question Is there any hope?

Trying to keep ducks happy. I have many beaver ponds on my land. It's all low riverbottom, they do dry a little in the summer. Is there anything that will grow in this wetland I can plant that ducks like, and if so how do I plant it?

If they can be drained, you can plant chufas and millet, then before seasosn refill the ponds shallow and the ducks will pour in. At least that is what one of the shows on TV filmed by Ducks Unlimited had last year.
