Default What to plant? Nthrn IL

I have a small plot about a 1/2 acre, looking to plant something that will bring the deer in and keep them coming back. Need a strong attractant and something that will feed them through the fall and hopefully winter months. Suggestions and ideas would be a great help need to get it in the ground fast!

Brassicas, winter rye, or a mix of the two should work.

I just picked up a bag of Hunter Specialties Winter Forage and will be planting it this weekend (IL/WI border). It has a good mix as an attractant and food supply. Good luck with your choice!
