What kind of plant is this?

I'm trying to figure out what this is. Is it just a weed or is it a specific kind of forage? I didn't plant it...

Appears to be peanuts.

It looks a lot like Sicklepod, but I'm not 100% certain.

That could be. All I did was till the ground and lay down some lime.

We always called it "coffeeweeds". Don't know the real name.

Its Coffee weed, a very noxious weed that nothing will eat and thats as bad a plot of it as I've ever seen. forgot where it comes from but its a non-native species....very bad stuff!

It is poisonous in any form, live, dry, seed etc. Will kill livestock and just about anything else that eats it. Maybe a controlled burn would be your best bet. Herbicides will be costly and not guaranteed to kill down to the root or seed bed.

that is sicklepod for sure, its hard to get rid of. best way is pull it up roots and all
herbicides won't do much to it. pull it up before it goes to seed!!!

That's what we're currently doing. We went out there last week and did a little more than half the plot by hand. Then I went back over the spots we did with herbicide. We're gonna finish it off this week and then I'm gonna plant.
