Default too much

i have a stump lick, a mineral block, hostas planted and a food plot all in within an acre and a half of eacheother. is that to much in one spot or not. thanks

I don't think so. Variety is a good thing and if the deer don't like it, they won't eat it.

Someone care to explain why it would be too much? Even everything combined adds up to very little.

I agree... Doesn't sound like too much to me. In one of the little areas on our farm (particular area is less than 2 acres) I have minerals, clover they have been pounding, and turnips going in this weekend.

Besides, won't the deer make the decision on what they want or what they don't want.

Naw, thats fine. What is a stump lick? Is that supposed to be the same as a mineral site? Might be overlapping there(maybe not). I've never used hosta a foodplot either, but hey if they will eat it out of your yard, I dont see why not. I have heard that hosta does pretty well in shade. 99% of foodplots do not do well in shade.
