Default Clover Plots

How many years do your clover plots last. Do you reseed at any time? I have one going on it's 3rd year this year. Deer hit it real hard this year.

A couple basic searches on the internet will tell you more than we can elobarate on here. Basically though - White clovers will generally last 3-5 years with proper care.(mowing, Lime, and/or Potassium)

Red clover & Alsike clovers will last 2 years, though many people consider them like annuals and re-plant every year.

Crimson clover, Burseem Clover, Arrowleaf clover and others are annual clovers - that only come back the next year by re-seeding themselves.

I have never allowed a clover plot to last more than 3.5 years, before moving on in rotation with something else.

With timely mowing/spraying keeping grass and weeds in check, any clover plot can be maintained indefinately. It is your choice.
