Corn wall??
ok so i got a large overgrown field but it is also about 150-200 yrds from my house and it is really easy to see my house from there (not much cover just tall weedy grass) but there is a small thorny patch in it with a few trees and i was wondering if it would work to make a corn wall 15-20 ft. thick around next to that area and then put some form of a foodplot inside and have my blind inside the corn wall waht do you guys think of this
thanks

We use corn as a screen for as much reason as a food source,
Corn can be used to make deer feel more comfortable feedingin a corner of a field of clover - or as a screen from the road - or as an avenue for deer to enter a food plot. The possibilities are endless in a lagre field - and we experiment all the time. We use it to help split up our overgrown 20 acre feild in a number of ways.
here's a couple "corn pics" I have up and posted. W often put a Box blind in or behind the corn screen.

RE: Corn wall??
My 1st question is how how high is the deer density in your area. An 8 row swipe of corn a couple of hundred yards long would be destroyed before it grew enough to make a decent screen in many parts of the country. If you dont think thats gonna be a problem then your idea should work great.
