Default Protien Supplement Advice

I have read a lot about different protien supplement pellets. What is anyone using to supplement their heard. Let me know if you are mixing it with corn or what. I have read alot about protien could a guy not mix corn, wheat, and soy beans and have a higher protien food mixter for deer. I am sure there are more minerals then that in protien pellets but say that with a mixture of Dairy. I have no idea what that is but read about it on here. Seems to have started a big fight. That is not my goal just wondering what ideas people had on it.

Default RE: Protien Supplement Advice

Most people start out mixing it with corn to get the deer used to eating it, but after that you should be feeding straight protein pellets.

Some folks do mix corn with soybeans and that is better than straight corn, but depending on where you are, soybeans might cost as much or more than protein pellets (corn costs nearly as much as protein pellets around here).

I use a 21% protein pellet that is made by a feed mill here in town and it is only $1 a bag more than corn.
