Ask your local co-op for Poast herbicide. Same thing, lower price usually. Arrest is simply Whitetail Institute's brand name.

Just remember- sethoxydim, the active ingredient in Arrest or Poast, will kill all grasses! Brassicas and Rye grass is in Extreme, No Plow & Secret Spot.

If you have a Clover, Alfalfa or Chickory only plot- you can use sethoxydim without adverse results. However, ifyou have any type of grasses in your plot & you use Arrest or Poast or anything else containing sethoxydim, you will kill the grass in the plot.

If I'm not mistaken, 2,4,D will kill brassicas, which are a broadleaf, not a grass.

2,4-d will kill any broadleaf but will leave grasses alone.

Clethodim or Sethoxydim will kill grasses but leave broadleafs alone. You can get Sethoxydim in smaller quantities from a variety of manufacturers. Clethodim's smallest quantity is 1 gallon (200+ bucks), that's enough to treat about 20 acres.

Correct. I'm saying that using 2,4-D in a brassica plot willkill all broadleaf plants, including the brassicas. They are not a grass.
