I live in the mtn' s in VA with a similar situation. My feelings are...I wanted something to offer nutrition along with attraction....and I didn' t want to have to replant every year. I used Imperial Whitetail Clover, and it did very well. Make sure you do a soil test....and prep your site, no matter what you decice to plant.
