he just barely moved in cus his grandpa use to live there before but he past and when i asked in the first place on here no one lived in that house

When you are asking for identification of a type of tree a good picture of the fruit (acorns, hickory nuts, etc) is as important as a picture of the leaves. Bark, location and any other pictures/information helps also.

well well see when they give there first acorns out do any of yall know how long that takes and what and when should i give them fertilizer

It may take 20 or more years before they bear acorns. Try some Sawtooth Oaks if you want acorns in 7 or so years..

well no not really cuz the little ones in his back yard have them this past year and there about 10-15 ft or so..how big do sawtooths grow a year?

It could possibly be a red oak. The burr oak will have huge acorns, close to golf ball size with large round curved leaves. . Chincapinns have a saw tooth edge all the way around with the smaller type acorns. Both of these like the bottoms.

The acorns on a Burr Oak are big, but not almost as big as a golf ball. :DAnd the leaves you showed are from two diff trees. The second small tree looked like Red Oak to me.
