Ok. Last guess of the night is a Shumard. It is not a pin oak, but I think its something in the red family.

thats what i was thinkin too something in the red family but thats why i posted it on here cus im sure lots of yall no more than me..well im about to call it anight ill get back on in the morning thanks for you guys help

Looks like a Texas Red Oak, also known as a Spanish Oak. Scientific name is Quercus buckleyi.

Texas Red Oak would be my guess as well, but its scientific name is Quercus texana. Q. buckleyi is just plain old Texas Oak.

The first picture in the bucket look like white oak, I have the same leaves in my lease. Look at the trunk they have alot of white on them.

hhhmmmm i dont know the leaves look alike but the trunk of the tree and the color of the branches dont look like the ones around here.......but the littleones are doin very well i hope to go take them outthis spring and go plant them but a question for yall tree planters would you reccomend planting this tree in the middle of a soon to be food plot?and how would you plant it?dig a hole and leave it in the pot and put a fence around it to keep it from animals...
