I'd suggest the leyland cypress also.

I would only consider White Pines if they will not be to close to anything. They grow good and all but are messy with their needles falling out and in the hot summer days a lot of pich drips from them. That pich is hard to get off anything it gets on. Spruce and fur are not very bad as far as the pich goes but still will drip a little. They also do not branch out quite as much as white pine do. Another one that looks good is the Norwiegion ( sp ) Pines with Longer needles and less mess.
