Default what type of shrub

What type of shrub will grow in hot temps and low light. I want it to produve a seed or berry that rabbits, pheasants and deer like, also squirrels. I am planing this in my groove to give the rabbits somthing to eat ad someplace to hide. Also somthing for the deer and pheasant to chew on when we get our other patch of land fixed up for deer. And also what kind of clover do rabbits like? and also does it grow in hot low light situations. Thanks guys.

Default RE: what type of shrub

Many animals like a sedge called Chufa. As for shrubs/trees that can handle dry and some shade:
- Autumn Olive
- Russian Olive
- Grey Dogwood
- Sumac
- Raspberry
- Elderberry.

How dry and how much shade will affect how well they grow. A good clover/alfalfa field will draw wildlife very well.
