How many acres of soybeans do you plant? I know we have trouble planting that down this way b/c the deer just mow them down before they get a chance to grow.

We plant about 4 or 5 acres of soybeans - the last couple years. Each year we plant a little more - since they are easy - the soil is soooooooo workable after the season (roundup ready soybeans). Soybeans compliment corn and clover well.

Realistically - you probably need 2 acres of beans to make it worthwhile. An additional Clover plotespecially will take some pressure off the beans from the deer.
