Default DRY

We have been having one of those desert like falls around here. I checked a couple of our food plots today that have been planted over 3 weeks and you could put all of the green grass in both fields in a pickle jar. A lot of the seed are still in the ground, but the dang turkeys are eating them up. Unless we get a rain this week we probably won'd have a single food plot out of the 60 or so we planted that will be worth sitting on.

Give the turkey something else to feed on, like corn, if it's legal in FL. Or just hunt else where until the corn is cleaned up.

I'm sorry to hear about the dry weather that you're having timbercruiser. It's tough putting in all that work and watching it go to waste. The corn idea might work. You've have had hurricanes to the south, east, north and west of you. You must live a clean life.

Having lived in Florida for 14 years, I can say that if he stays there long enough, his time will come--clean life or not.

I've been in this area for about 34 years and have been directly involved with 3 hurricanes. Hope I don't ever have thenon-pleasure again.
