Yes if the seed is already mixed , you dont have a lot of choices. I thought you were combining those ingredients. It would take wayyyyyyyyy too much time to seperate that seed.

I like it -
I'd be curious to hear if the Austrian Peas ever get big enough to see before the deer get them. Peas are tough - deer like them way too much!

well while i was trying to prepare some of the soil in the woods...... it came a hellacious storm......... so with all of that the ground didnt get prepared like i wanted but the seed and fertilizer got distributed.....lol....... atleast it was on bare ground in the pouring rain so that could help..... hopefully atleast half of it will come up.....lol
I also seeded some of it where my "Secret Spot" is growing too
BTW......... this was called WildGameMax bythe Ferry-Morse company got it at Tractor Supply $18 for a 25# bag.....supposed to plant one acre......
I planted a small test plot that was well prepared to see how it grows near the house so i should atleast see good results fromt that one.........

the WildGameMax mix has came up real good in my test plot by the inlaws house....... i havent gotten to head over to the farm yet to see if its doing any good in the woods
Tuesday evening I drug the plow that i made over a bare spot in the hollow that we mow..... the bare spot was there because last spring we burnt a big pile of brush and if course it killed the grass......
I threw the seed by hand..... the ran over it on the 4wheeler likea wildman......lol
well today.......mind you this was just 4.5 days........ the 8x20 spot was solid green and the stuff was 3" high atleast............so i give WildGameMax a grade A for quickly growing.......now jsut need to see how the deer like it later this fall

well the test plot is about 2 weeks old......... some stuff is about 4" or taller......... the turnips have sprouted.....
father in law told me today when i was down there that the other evening there was a buck in it.....but was too foggy for him to count the points
i looked for tracks and I found several that were close to 3" wide.........and found several doe track.........looks like they are already getting into it good and its not even mature or ripe yet really
