They eat them and the RR corn too, dont let anybody kid you....
yeah definately. we plant RR beans and i think corn on our farm and the deer absolutely destroy the first 10-12 rows nearest to trails, fencerows, and openings around water sources. the beans are just now coming up but the deer are seriously destroying the corn crop.[:-]

I have planted both RR beans and regular beans side by side and they eat both just as much. If you want to see how much they eat, just put a 4'x4' wire exclosure cage in the middle of the bean plot. In my plot the beans in the exclosure were about 14 inchs high and the plants outside were a very nice even 7" to 8". Oh yes, the deer do also readily eat RR corn and RR conola. For some reason this year more than others they seem to be eating the corn plants from the time they started to grow. I have come to rely on the round up ready crops for a good clean field and better crop. I have sprayed a few fields as many as three times were there are bad reocurring germinations of weeds.

Can you tell me where a food plotter can buy RR canola?

answerguy, look for a Monsanto rep either Dekalb or Asgrow in the central U.S. midwest, I understand it is available in some parts of the country, I checked on this several months ago....Call Monsanto in St. Louis for info...
