Old apple tree questions

RE: Old apple tree questions
You guys are great, thanks for the info.
Now I just have to decide if I can wait till next spring, or if I should do it now while the landowner is all gung-ho to help me with projects. I did read on the net that apples are very hardy and should be pruned in the spring but can be pruned alot later. I know that if I get to it soon I'll do it, and possibly build a stand, if I wait till next year I may not be able as its a busy time at work.
