Tree stand's

RE: Tree stand's
Thanks to zoomers post, he points out one thing we all failed to mention and is equally as important in choosing the best stand for your needs and that is buckle up with a top quality safety harness that will hold you upright in the event you should fall each and everytime you climb into your stand! The only type of harness that should be worn IMO is one that has 5 point shoulder harness plus legs, this will distribute your weight more evenly and ensure you are hanging right side up (one's like Seat o Pants, etc). Not all are created equal so do your research and do not skimp on something that can save you pain, suffering or life!

RE: Tree stand's
I hate messing with wooden stands, they aren't as safe and they rot after awhile. I got a 15' ladder stand last season for $59 bucks at Dick's sporting goods, works great. But, I also had it stolen, so If if you go with metal stand, bolt it down good!!! Nobody will mess with a wooden stand! Think about it!
